About the Journal

Diverse Perspectives on Wellness is a scientific research journal that spotlights inclusive perspectives on improved access to health, education and social systems. Currently in its second year of publication, Diverse Perspectives on Wellness is published quarterly, and its current readership spans North America, Europe and Asia.

Impact

Research articles published in Diverse Perspectives on Wellness are well regarded for their positive influence on school discipline policies and the development of new programs to increase the number of maternal health care workers in hospitals, and Jamaal Marshall, editor-in-chief was awarded a Who’s Who in America 2024.

Criteria for Publication

Diverse Perspectives on Wellness invites submissions for novel research articles that recommend innovative approaches to resolving health, education and social issues and expanding on the mainstream idea of what it means to be well. 

Diverse Perspectives on Wellness accepts papers for publication that 1) have a first author from one of the World Bank’s 189 member countries (https://www.worldbank.org/en/where-we-work), 2) have been written in English, 3) have already been assigned a doi and 4) have not yet been published in a peer-reviewed journal.

Diverse Perspectives on Wellness publishes integrative reviews, mixed methods research, qualitative research, quantitative research and systematic reviews. We are currently accepting papers on Access to health, Cancer, COVID-19, Disability, Gender equity, Global health, HIV and Race Equity. We offer a rigorous and thoughtful peer review process with response times from 10-21 days. Articles are made available to the public at hvisualizations.com.

 

Non-Exclusive Publishing Agreement

Articles are published under a non-exclusive agreement so that authors retain the right to publish their papers elsewhere.
